Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Construction/Craft Recruiter to support staffing across multiple market areas including mining, transportation, and oil/gas. The role focuses on sourcing, screening, and hiring craft candidates for projects across the U.S.

and Canada, with strong collaboration with operations and HR Partners. The ideal candidate has experience in high-volume recruiting, understands union and non-union practices, and can build robust pipelines while traveling up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of recruiting experience across high-volume environments.
• Fluent Spanish/English preferred.
• Experience sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers and closing hires.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with site contacts, candidates, and project teams to expedite hiring.
• Recruit, screen and interview candidates in a high-volume setting, presenting top talent to Operations.
• Facilitate internal transfers and referrals for craft roles across multiple markets.
• Manage 30–50 active requisitions concurrently for key craft positions.
• Utilize ATS, social media, job boards and networking to source talent.
• Develop long-term craft pipelines through career fairs and partnerships.
