Description

Summary Description: The Construction Craft Laborer will be assigned varied duties based on project needs. They will be responsible for assisting with delivery of tools, equipment, and supplies to area jobsites in a timely manner. They must be able to work with equipment operators and confirm hand signals to be used. They will be required to do manual labor such as shoveling, pulling wire, installing burial tape, etc., as necessary. They must also be proficient with a variety of tools and equipment used in construction.

Laborer Job Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the crew lead of the installation team
• Organize tools, equipment, and material in laydown areas
• Ensure safe work practices are followed
• Assist with equipment and material checkouts
• Assist in taking inventory
• Transport tools and materials to field personnel
• Attend mandatory training sessions on installation methodology and safety
• Work collaboratively with installers, crew leads, supervisors, superintendents, and managers
• Clean up the job site
• Attend meetings as required
• Perform other duties as assigned
