Job description

Position Title: Entry Manufacturing Labor-Converting Dept

Location: San Antonio Central Container, 1111 Frost Bank Center Dr., San Antonio, TX 78219

Pay Rate: $20.53/hr for the first 90 days, then $22.48/hr, with a $0.33/hr shift differential for night shifts.

Bonuses: $500 at 30 days and $500 at 6 months, if eligibility requirements are met.

Shift: Night Shift (7 PM - 7 AM, alternating weekly schedules)

Training: Orientation/Training Mon-Fri 7 am - 3 pm for the first two weeks

Job Responsibilities:

1. Follow all safety rules and practices.
2. Learn customer requirements and specifications from work orders, print cards, and design specs.
3. Coordinate with machine crew members for setup and operation.
4. Maintain quality and production standards.
5. Perform setup functions, including die removal/attachment, machine adjustments, and cleaning.
6. Monitor quality and quantity of production.
7. Prepare for setups and runs, manage supplies, and tear apart pallets.
8. Perform cleanup tasks around the machine area.
9. Perform minor repairs on cutting dies.
10. Conduct quality inspections and record findings.
11. Learn operator duties and responsibilities.
12. Follow prescribed practices in all circumstances.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to wear PPE such as hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves, and safety shoes.
