Job summary

Currie & Brown, a leading global construction consultancy, seeks an experienced Construction Cost Manager in the San Francisco Bay Area. You’ll support project leaders by delivering estimation, procurement, and cost planning to keep projects on budget and to the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking construction project cost reporting and analysis with estimating, procurement, scheduling, and finance interaction.
• Assisting and implementing cost control, schedule and progress control reporting.
• Monitoring cost performance to identify variances from the budget.
• Producing accurate/unbiased cost forecasts at detailed and summary levels.
• Identifying early warnings of adverse cost trends and recommending corrective actions.
• Forecasting final project cost based on actual incurred cost vs. budget.
• Supporting client accounts, monthly invoicing, and purchase order management.
• Assisting with project cost estimates from conceptual stages through development.
• Establishing and maintaining cost/estimating tools, methods, and databases.
