Job summary

LeoForce, a leading Irvine-based General Contractor, seeks an experienced Estimator to forecast project costs across residential and commercial sectors. The role emphasizes accurate cost modeling, data-driven decision making, and collaboration with project teams to drive competitive bids.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in construction estimation, strong blueprint literacy, and proficiency in estimating software and MS Office.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimation or related role.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and plans.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills to create accurate estimates.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed project cost estimates for construction projects including labor, materials, and equipment.
Review blueprints and specifications to prepare cost estimates.
Conduct site visits and collect data for estimation and bidding.
Collaborate with PMs, engineers, architects, contractors, and clients on cost management.
Analyze subcontractor proposals for fairness and accuracy.
Stay updated on industry trends and local market for competitive estimates.
Prepare and present bids and reports for clients and stakeholders.
Maintain estimation documentation and databases.
