Job summary

Fermilab seeks an NSCF Construction Coordinator to autonomously orchestrate and supervise complex construction projects for the LBNF DUNE project. You will oversee installed systems, safety and quality controls, and manage schedules and costs, ensuring work aligns with contract specifications and building codes.

You will mentor other Task Managers and Coordinators, lead project meetings, coordinate procurement, and drive cost estimates while maintaining ES&H compliance across multiple

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in related field; 15+ years heavy industrial/commercial experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years heavy industrial/commercial experience.
• Extensive knowledge of construction disciplines incl. excavations, conventional construction, electrical, mechanical, building automation.
• Thorough knowledge of OSHA Standards; Proven communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with management to determine specifications for project tasks.
• Create work submission packages for procurement and bids.
• Coordinate and mentor TM/CCs and supervise subcontractor work across disciplines.
• Ensure safety, quality, cost, and schedule alignment with contract and codes.
