Buckner International in Midland, TX is seeking a FHC Community Coordinator to raise awareness and serve as a liaison with community partners. You will coordinate volunteer activities, collaborate with churches and local agencies, and support Buckner ministries and fundraising efforts.

You’ll work to connect families with empowerment resources, manage on-site and off-site programs, develop relationships with service providers, and help plan health fairs and community events while ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum two years prior related experience providing community-based services, crisis assistance, or direct social services.
• Ability to observe and assess situations and individuals and determine appropriate action.
• Knowledge of community resources and ability to facilitate collaboration with agencies and service providers.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards governing programs and services.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse communities and public speaking experience.

Responsabilités

• Discuss client family needs with Case Managers to connect empowerment resources.
• Assist clients in accessing onsite programs and community referrals; teach resource access.
• Develop and manage a system to coordinate on-site and off-site programs and aid communication.
• Assist with housing, enrollments, and other services for program participants.
• Develop relationships with institutions and agencies to coordinate services for participants.
• Analyze program needs and implement changes to meet client needs.
• Coordinate community events and health fairs, trainings, and special activities.
• Support volunteer schedules and supervision in line with Buckner policies.
