Job summary

Buckner International is seeking a Construction Coordinator I to lead designated construction projects within the Buckner Healthy Housing program and related mission engagements. The role includes coordinating logistics, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality workmanship across project phases.

The coordinator will manage materials, oversee required permits, and supervise contracted labor while supporting mission experiences and volunteer teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years prior related experience in construction.
• In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, construction science and construction materials; residential construction knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee construction of Buckner Healthy Housing homes from start to completion.
• Ensure projects comply with applicable building codes and permitting requirements.
• Oversee contracted labor to ensure quality workmanship.
• Apply project management techniques to control cost and schedule.
• Inform supervisor of potential issues and delays in vendor transactions and deliveries.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, and tools for wear and compliance.
• Support coordination of mission experiences and volunteer orientations.
