Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a construction project professional to coordinate all phases of road projects in the U.S. and Canada. You will ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and maintain safety standards on site.

Qualifications

  • Ability to manage priorities, solve problems, and coordinate multiple construction activities.
  • Working knowledge of heavy/civil construction practices, project workflows, and field operations.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with teams, clients, and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead and direct work while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and standard business software applications.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Coordinate and manage all phases of road construction projects to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Drive project safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance across township, state, and federal requirements.
  • Develop schedules, track progress, and report performance using project management tools.
  • Lead communication with subcontractors, agencies, and stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain alignment.

Conditions of Employment

Work Environment
  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
