Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead day-to-day financial operations for a multi-entity commercial construction portfolio in the Fort Worth area. You will report to a Fractional CFO and partner with the CEO & COO to ensure accurate financial reporting and project accounting across three operating companies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction accounting experience.
• Experience managing multi-entity portfolios.
• Masters degree required.
• Strong WIP and project cost accounting skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting across three entities, including GL and month-end close.
• Lead project cost accounting and 20+ GC projects with 18 months each, track WIP.
• Drive timely billings, pay apps, retainage, and cash flow forecasting.
• Oversee transition from QuickBooks to Sage Intacct and related systems.
• Collaborate with CPA firms for annual reviews and tax planning.
