CliftonLarsonAllen LLP is hiring a Construction Controller for our Client Accounting and Advisory Service in Lakeland or Tampa, FL. This role leads internal controls, budgeting, and financial planning, with heavy interaction with client teams and leadership.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in accounting/finance, construction industry experience, and is proficient in QuickBooks and Excel. CPA preferred but not mandatory; frequent local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required; CPA preferred but not required.
• 7 years of relevant accounting/financial experience; construction industry preferred.
• Public accounting experience is a plus; proficiency in accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for budgeting, cash and credit management.
• Coordinate financial planning, budgeting, procurements, or investment activities for the organization.
• Prepare financial statements, activity reports, forecasts, and board-ready materials.
• Monitor KPIs and advise management on financial objectives and actions.
• Communicate with boards, bankers, investors, and other stakeholders regularly.
