  • A Valid state driver's license is required.
  • Pre-employment physical is required due to use of a respirator.
  • Temporary travel for duty is approximately 25%.

Minimum Qualifications For The GS-12 Level

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience in all of the following areas: 1.) Review and coordinate construction plans, technical specifications, and "as-built" data for the construction of civil or military projects; and 2.) experience developing construction management plans, technical solicitation documents, or master schedules; and 3.) serve as an organizational liaison or project coordinator. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).

  • Position may be filled as a Term Appointment NTE 13 months. Term appointments may be extended beyond six (6) years, up to eight (8) years. With DoD approval, Term appointments may be extended beyond eight (8) years.
