Job summary

The Regents of the University of California on behalf of their Los Angeles Campus is seeking a Contract Administrator for Capital Programs. This role will oversee the development, execution, and management of more than 900 construction contracts and design agreements valued in excess of $750 million on the Los Angeles campus and affiliated facilities.

You will lead pre-bid conferences, oversee public bid openings, and provide guidance on UC Policy and Public Contract Code requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to interact in a professional manner with internal staff, campus departments, contractors and external entities.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex legal/technical documents including construction contracts.
• Advanced ability to write concise, logical business correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and manage 900+ construction contracts and design professional agreements valued over $750M.
• Lead pre-bid conferences and public bid openings; advise on UC Policy and Public Contract Code requirements.
• Act as internal consultant on contract matters and create contract documentation frameworks for project success.
• Operate with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
