Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex contracts and manuals (Required)
• Experience in preparing and managing construction contracts and design agreements (Required)
• Ability to guide teams on contract forms and policy interpretation (Required)
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail (Required)
• Ability to communicate clearly to internal staff and external entities (Required)
• Experience with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat products (Required)
• Familiarity with California Public Contract and Labor Codes (Preferred)
• Experience at a large public entity (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute construction contracts and design agreements.
• Lead pre-bid conferences and public bid openings.
• Provide guidance on UCPolicy and Public Contract Code requirements.
• Serve as internal consultant on contractual matters.
• Guide project teams through contract documentation and processes.
• Prioritize and manage multiple ongoing tasks with minimal supervision.
