Job summary

WD is seeking an experienced Construction Contracts Manager to support its capital construction program. You will oversee cost tracking, contract administration, procurement coordination, and compliance across a portfolio of projects, ensuring budgets and obligations are met.

You will collaborate with Project Managers, Finance, Legal, and Procurement to maintain accurate accruals, review contracts, and manage change orders while upholding internal controls and accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction contracts management or a related owner-side role.
• Proficient in Oracle ERP and Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and reporting.
• Experience managing lien waivers, insurance compliance, and contractor payment processes.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration across Finance, Legal, Procurement, and Construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and reconcile monthly job cost reports in Oracle ERP; develop and maintain budgets and cash flow in coordination with Project Managers and Finance.
• Review project contracts, statements of work, and amendments to assess financial requirements and identify contractual risk.
• Submit, track, and maintain purchase orders in coordination with Procurement.
• Provide financial and risk input on new contracts and statements of work developed by Project Managers and Legal.
• Ensure contract execution and payment processes comply with internal controls and accounting standards.
