Job summary

Insight Global in Austin, TX is seeking a Contracts Administrator to oversee upstream customer contracts and NDAs, conduct initial reviews, and draft summaries for Legal and Risk.

You will route comments among Project Management, Legal, Risk, and customers, maintain the contract tracker, and help move contracts through the full execution lifecycle, while supporting ASC 606 forms and related amendments.

Qualifications

  • Experience reviewing customer contracts and project SOWs.
  • Solid understanding of construction contract terminology and hierarchy.
  • Proficiency with Word Track Changes and redlining.

Responsibilities

  • Review customer contracts and NDAs; summarize risks for Legal and Risk.
  • Draft contract summaries for review by Legal and Risk.
  • Maintain contract tracker and communicate status of each contract.
  • Move contracts through the full execution lifecycle.
  • Draft amendments using established templates.
  • Assist with ASC 606 forms, credit apps, and master contracts.

Job Description
Day-to-Day:
  • Oversee and coordinate upstream customer contracts and NDAs
  • Conduct initial contract reviews and incorporate redlines
  • Draft contract summaries for Legal and Risk review
  • Route comments among Project Management, Legal, Risk, and customers
  • Maintain the contract tracker and communicate each contract's status
  • Help move contracts through the full execution lifecycle
  • Draft contractual documents and amendments using established templates
  • Assist Accounting with ASC 606 forms, credit applications, and master contracts
  • Help Legal draft and file lien and bond claim notices
  • Document processes and support company-wide Legal and Risk training
  • Cross-train as backup for the Subcontracts Administrator
  • Produce reports and complete additional contract-administration assignments
Skills and Requirements
  • Commercial construction industry experience
  • Experience reviewing customer contracts and project SOWs
  • Solid understanding of construction contract terminology, including defined terms and contract hierarchy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word Track Changes and redlining
  • Ability to identify errors, inconsistencies, and contractual risks
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of contracts
  • Stable work history
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Legal, Risk, Accounting, and Project Management
  • Experience working for a general contractor or owner's representative
  • One to five years of construction-industry support experience
  • Associate degree or higher
  • Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • SharePoint experience
  • Vista Viewpoint experience
  • Project coordinator, project administrator, or project management background
  • Experience with ASC 606 forms, lien notices, bond claims, or contract amendments
