Lexicon, Inc. seeks a Contracts Manager to oversee contractual aspects of sub-contractor construction contracts. You will develop, administer, and close out contracts, including handling claims and disputes with project teams, legal, and finance.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least five years in contract management, with experience in capital projects or construction and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Weekend/long hours may be required.
The Contracts Manager is responsible for overseeing all contractual aspects of sub-contractor construction contracts. This includes sub-contractor compliance with company and established project policies, legal requirements, and construction standards. This position will be responsible for contract development, administration, and contract close-out including claims and dispute resolution.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, law, engineering, construction management, or related field. Minimum five years of experience in contract management; preferably in capital projects or construction.
Construction purchasing experience required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Must have excellent organizational and communication skills.
Must be able to work weekends and long hours in a high‑pressure working environment. Must be accessible at any time for emergencies. Requires frequent bending, stooping and lifting. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally. All the physical demands listed are essential functions.
