Job summary

HDR is seeking a Construction Contract Administrator in Texas to coordinate with owners, managers, and multidisciplinary teams. You will lead constructability reviews, review shop drawings and RFIs, and support design-construction coordination. Travel to sites and HDR offices is required at times.

The role requires 7 years of contract experience and excellent writing and communication skills. Proactive mentorship of junior staff and active participation in project reviews are encouraged.

Qualifications

• 7 years contract-related experience; advanced degree or certification may substitute.
• Strong contracting concepts knowledge and client requirements.
• Independent, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks.
• Proficient with MS Excel and producing complex spreadsheets.
• Excellent writing and people skills; team collaborator.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with owner, design/contracting team, and contractors.
• Perform constructability reviews at each design phase.
• Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, and coordination issues.
• Lead design team with constructability questions and solutions.
• Attend design/construction page turns and meetings.
• Travel to job sites or HDR offices as required.
• Mentor junior construction contract staff and support development.
