Job summary

HDR is seeking a Construction Contract Administrator for our Building Engineering Services team in Texas. You will coordinate with owners, designers, contractors and subcontractors to ensure high-quality construction documents and smooth project delivery.

The role requires travel to sites and HDR offices as needed, with emphasis on collaboration and multidisciplinary coordination. Applicants should have 7+ years in contracts, strong MS Excel and communication skills, and a PE license preferred.

Qualifications

• 7 years contract-related experience; advanced degree or certification may substitute.
• Expert knowledge of contracting concepts and client requirements.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Proactive, organized, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct constructability reviews at each design phase for HDR projects.
• Lead design and construction meetings with owners, contractors and design teams.
• Perform site visits to validate work quality and progress.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings for coordination.
• Support design teams with constructability questions as needed.
• Coordinate with owner, designer, constructor and subcontractors throughout construction.
