Job summary

Moseley seeks a full-time Construction Contract Administrator for our Baltimore team, focusing on Senior Living projects. This role serves as the primary construction-phase representative across multiple active communities, coordinating with owners, contractors, consultants and Moseley teams.

The CCA will lead field observations, RFIs, submittals, change management, pay apps, punch lists, and field-condition resolutions. Travel overnight is required on occasion.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial construction administration experience.
  • Experience with large multi-phase projects and strong client-management skills.
  • Procore and Revit proficiency required; architectural licensure preferred.
  • Periodic overnight travel is required.

  • Communicate with all project participants in an effective and collaborative manner.
  • Conduct regular site visits to observe progress and prepare detailed field reports.
  • Lead and document project meetings with agendas and minutes.
  • Review contracts and documentation for compliance and clarity on small to medium projects.
  • Respond to RFIs and manage submittals and change orders.
  • Prepare contract modifications and review cost proposals for accuracy.
  • Evaluate payment applications and monitor schedules.
  • Maintain organized project records and manage closeout documentation.

Job description

Moseley is seeking a full-time Construction Contract Administrator (CCA) to join our Baltimore team and focus on Senior Living projects. This position will serve as Moseley's primary construction-phase representative on multiple active projects and communities, working closely with owners, contractors, consultants, and Moseley project teams.

The CCA will lead construction-phase services, including field observation, RFIs, submittals, change management, pay applications, punch lists, and resolution of field conditions. Our Senior Living work frequently consists of large, multi-building campuses developed in multiple phases, with construction programs extending five years or more.

What’s Needed:

Experienced Architect or Construction Administrator with 5+ years of significant commercial construction administration experience, preferably on large, complex, or multi-phase projects. Strong communication, organization, technical constructability and construction detailing problem-solving, and client-management skills are essential. Experience with Procore and the ability to navigate Revit models are required. Architectural licensure is preferred. Periodic overnight travel is required.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required
  • 3+ years’ construction administration or construction management experience
Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with all project participants, including but not limited to internal team members, clients, owners, and consultants in an effective and collaborative manner
  • Conduct regular site visits to observe construction progress, ensure compliance with contract documents, and prepare detailed field reports
  • Lead and document project meetings, including preparation of agendas and distribution of meeting minutes
  • Review and interpret project-related agreements, contracts, and documentation to ensure compliance and clarity for small to medium-size projects
  • Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs)
  • Perform architectural submittal reviews in accordance with project timelines and company standards. Monitor and manage timeliness of review when performed by others
  • Prepare contract modifications and review cost proposals for accuracy and consistency with project scope
  • Evaluate contractor payment applications and confirm accuracy with work-in-place and approved schedules
  • Maintain comprehensive and organized project records throughout the duration of the project
  • Oversee the color and finish selection process, including sample coordination and final approvals in collaboration with clients and design teams
  • Conduct Substantial Completion inspections and manage creation of punch lists and follow-up
  • Manage and execute the project closeout process, ensuring delivery of all final documentation, as-built drawings, and warranty materials
  • Provide mentorship to emerging professionals
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned
Required Skills:
  • Capable of working in a collaborative team environment to meet specific deadlines
  • Diligence in monitoring progress, identifying potential problems and designing solutions as necessary
  • Proficient knowledge of cost analysis and estimating
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Working knowledge of applicable codes/standards, and construction documentation
  • Ability to navigate active project sites to observe work in progress with the ability to climb ladders, access scaffolding, and lift up to 25 lbs. as necessary
  • Maintaining a valid driver’s license required and be available to travel to various project sites as required
Software Proficiencies:
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience required
  • Bluebeam experience preferred
  • Procore experience preferred

Compensation: $100,000-$115,000. Annual salary is commensurate with education & experience.
