Ideal Contracting is seeking a Communications Specialist to craft and coordinate content across Ideal Group. The role centers on Ideal Contracting while supporting proposals, social media, blog posts, employee communications, and campaigns.

The ideal candidate will have strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, experience with CMS and Adobe Creative Cloud, and the ability to translate technical information for diverse audiences. This on-site role reports to the Marketing Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, content development, copywriting, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience writing for multiple audiences and channels.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong research, interviewing, and storytelling skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud preferred.
• Basic understanding of graphic design, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy a plus.
• Experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing, architecture, or other B2B environment a plus.

Responsabilités

• Write, edit, and proofread content for marketing and communications materials across Ideal Group and its companies, focusing on Ideal Contracting.
• Develop copy for proposals, qualifications packages, project descriptions, case studies, social media captions, blogs, website content, newsletters, brochures, ads, presentations, and announcements.
• Interview employees, project teams, leadership, and subject matter experts to gather information and craft stories.
• Translate technical information into clear, engaging content for clients, employees, and audiences.
• Identify opportunities to tell stories about projects, people, milestones, culture, and innovation; repurpose content for new formats.
• Edit content for grammar, accuracy, clarity, consistency, and brand voice; adjust messaging for different audiences and channels.
• Collaborate with designer and videographer to ensure written and visual content align.
• Coordinate with Marketing Manager to manage content projects and deadlines; handle multiple assignments across Ideal Group.
• Maintain content files, resources, templates, and project information; assist with research and other marketing initiatives.
