Job summary

ARCO Design/Build is seeking a motivated Superintendent Intern to support field teams and gain hands-on construction experience across diverse project types. You will work with seasoned superintendents, learn scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and on-site operations, and contribute to projects from early phases to completion.

You will engage in a structured internship with training and performance reviews, with opportunities for advancement after graduation.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or other related degree programs.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
• Co-op or Intern construction experience preferred, but not required.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic.
• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license in your state of residence.
• Ability to meet physical demands including walking, uneven terrain, lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendents on jobsites across varied industries including commercial, industrial, distribution, office, multi-family, and entertainment.
• Learn scheduling, subcontractor liaison, and project execution from on-site leadership.
• Contribute to project life cycle by performing tasks that help projects run smoothly from start to finish.
