NOW HIRING: COMMERCIAL CARPENTER
Open Shop Commercial Renovation Contractor — Chicago Suburbs
Cicero Construction Group is an established open shop commercial renovation contractor based in the Chicago suburbs, in business for 55+ years, looking for an experienced Commercial Carpenter to join our team.
We perform commercial renovations, tenant build-outs, office renovations, school work, and institutional projects. Most of our work is private commercial renovation, with limited prevailing wage work.
Most of our projects occur locally, within the Chicagoland area. However, we also occasionally take on regional projects throughout the Midwest.
We are looking for a carpenter who can anchor our team and help build the future of our company.
We need someone who can do more than just complete assigned tasks. The right person can read plans, think ahead, work independently, troubleshoot field conditions, and help keep projects moving.
This work may require occasional out-of-town travel throughout the region to perform projects that we may take on around the region. Determined on a project-to-project basis.
This position is a good fit for someone who takes pride in their work, is dependable, communicates well, and understands how commercial renovation projects operate.
$35–$48 per hour, based on experience, skill level, and ability to work independently.
We are willing to pay a good wage for the right person. Compensation will be based on what you can do, how independently you can work, and the value you bring to the job.
Prevailing wage paid when applicable.
