Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry and/or business development / sales experience.
• Bachelor's degree required. Business, construction, or related field preferred.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours.
• Business and community relationships in the Indianapolis metro area
• Knowledge/experience in a construction related industry.
• Knowledge of Messer focused market segments (aviation, food and beverage, healthcare, higher education, manufacturing, science and technology) is a plus
• Formal sales training experience with client management (CRM) software
• Proven track record developing business and long-term client relations.

Responsibilities

• Developing new business accounts to secure major construction contracts
• Strategically prospect, network, and research future construction project opportunities
• Working collaboratively with the Business Development team to create and implement strategic plans to generate business opportunities which result in achieved revenue objectives for the Indianapolis region
• Participating in industry and community organizations
• Continuously growing and developing your skills to lead project teams in selling high-end conceptual services to executive level managers and buyers of large corporations and agencies.
• Make decisions based on Messer's long-term growth philosophy and core values
