• Proficient with estimating software and tools such as Bluebeam and Sage Estimating.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours and manage bid timelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of detailed cost estimates for construction projects (materials, labor, equipment, subs).
• Analyze plans and specs to ensure accurate estimates.
• Identify risks and opportunities in estimates and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align estimates with requirements.
• Manage the bid process and prepare bid proposals for clients.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for competitive pricing and terms.
