Job description

Vaco is recruiting for an immediate Construction Billing Specialist located in the Norwood, OH area. Pay Rate: $25-$30hr

Key Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience with billing, including creating, reviewing, and resolving invoices and billing records.
• Strong initiative and independent problem-solving skills, with the ability to research issues, find answers, and proactively seek support when needed.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to maintain complete billing records and supporting documentation.
• Ability to work across multiple entities, subsidiaries, or billing streams.
• Experience researching and resolving billing inquiries and discrepancies with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong systems aptitude with the ability to learn ComputerEase or other construction-related ERP systems.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with project managers, customers, vendors, operations, and accounting teams.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work onsite Monday-Friday

Preferred Qualifications

• Construction industry billing experience.
• Experience with progress billing, time-and-material billing, or contract billing.
• ComputerEase experience.
