Job summary

C.A.C. Industries, a leading heavy civil construction contractor in the New York metro area, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist to manage project billing, collections, and account reconciliation for high-volume projects.

You'll work closely with Project Managers, Operations, and Accounting to ensure accurate invoices, timely submissions, and compliant lien waivers and retainage tracking. CMiC experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounts receivable and billing experience
• Construction industry experience preferred
• Experience with AIA Billing, progress billing, lien waivers, retainage tracking
• Knowledge of contract administration and job costing

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit monthly owner billings, progress billings, and contract-based invoices.
• Process AIA billing applications, schedules of values, change orders, and supporting docs.
• Track accounts receivable balances and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain records of retainage, contract balances, and payment apps.
• Coordinate with PMs and Operations for billing information and project status.
• Prepare certified payroll, lien waivers, and other docs for payment processing.
• Review contracts for billing compliance and generate aging reports.
• Assist with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
