Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation seeks an automation support specialist to back project teams in Brownsville, TX, focusing on setup, QA, and administration of construction software and databases. You will ensure data integrity, develop dashboards, and train end users across field engineering and project controls.

Candidate must have deep knowledge of PowerApps, Tableau, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Python and PowerBi; experience with TEKLA/UPV and 3D visualization is valued.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree and 2–5 years of relevant experience or 6–9 years of relevant work experience.
• Advanced experience with PowerApps, Tableau, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL, Python, PowerBi and Oracle.
• Familiarity with Bechtel processes, ES&H and construction engineering knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Administer, test, and implement construction databases.
• Create and maintain construction databases for PowerApps, dashboards and workflow enhancements.
• Coordinate automated data transfers between applications across design and construction teams.
• Configure and support construction tools to meet project requirements.
• Design reports reflecting data accuracy and usability.
• Develop tools to detect data quality issues and train end users.
• Support field engineering and project controls with Power Platform-based activities.
• Monitor data exchanges and ensure standardized usage across projects.
