Job summary

Bechtel Corporation seeks an Automation Support professional to provide comprehensive project support across Brownsville, TX. You will manage databases, develop PowerApps dashboards, and ensure data integrity for complex construction projects.

The role includes training end users, configuring reports, and coordinating data transfers between applications. The ideal candidate brings advanced PowerApps and SQL know-how, experience with TEKLA/UPV, Python, and strong construction-domain

Qualifications

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

Administer, test, and implement computer databases.
Create, establish, and maintain integrity of Construction Databases to establish requirements for PowerApps development, dashboards, and enhancements.
Coordinate with design engineering and construction automation project support to implement automated data transfer between applications.
Configure and support construction application tools to meet project requirements.
Understand reporting requirements for construction applications and configure reports accordingly.
Ensure reports accurately reflect data and function as intended.
Review and troubleshoot data for accuracy and completeness.
Develop quality applications and tools to detect data quality issues.
Provide training and technical support to end users including field engineering and project controls.
Evaluate and monitor data exchanges across platforms to identify synchronization issues.
Establish standardized application usage across projects for scalability.
Design automated system for mapping cost codes to standard construction materials.
Contributed to software tools to model construction elements for planning and execution.
Facilitate cross-discipline discussions to address data quality root causes.
Conduct training sessions on Power Platform-based activities for new hires and interns.
