Job summary

Fluor Corporation in Houston seeks a Construction Automation Specialist I to enhance project delivery through model-based execution and automated workflows. You will coordinate federated 3D models, validate data, and build 4D simulations to support planning and field readiness.

Ideal candidates combine analytical thinking with strong communication, experience with Navisworks/SYNCHRO, and a passion for digital construction technologies in large capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, construction management, BIM, IT, or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Fundamental understanding of construction execution processes and digital construction technologies.
• Ability to learn and apply Fluor standards, procedures, and automation workflows.
• Experience working with large datasets and model-based information.
• Strong attention to detail in fast-moving project environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage, and maintain multidisciplinary federated 3D models throughout the project lifecycle.
• Aggregate and manage models from engineering disciplines and stakeholders using Navisworks and related platforms.
• Perform model QA/QC, data validation, constructability reviews, and data integrity assessments.
• Develop 4D simulations and construction sequencing visualizations for planning and execution.
• Support construction teams with model-based planning and execution readiness reviews.
