Job summary

Dean Dorton is seeking an Assurance Supervisor of Construction Services to lead assurance engagements for construction clients, supervise teams, and ensure timely delivery and quality. You will work with general contractors, subcontractors, developers, and real estate entities to provide proactive, risk-aware assurance solutions.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and stay current on regulatory changes affecting the construction industry to deliver high-value service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Three to five years of experience in assurance or accounting, preferably with construction clients.
• CPA license or ability to obtain CPA in a reasonable time.

Responsibilities

• Lead assurance engagements for construction clients with timelines and budgets.
• Mentor associates and interns, guiding engagement teams.
• Manage tasks, deadlines, and client communications effectively.
• Serve as a point of contact for construction clients and stakeholders.
• Review engagement procedures, including accounting basis and WIP reporting.
• Collaborate with directors and managers to resolve technical issues.
• Stay current on construction accounting standards and regulations.
