Job summary

Accurate Personnel in Katy, TX seeks a Staff Accountant to support the billing process and AR activities for construction projects. You’ll issue invoice numbers, reconcile logs, monitor aging, and collaborate with field personnel to ensure accurate billing.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in AR, is proficient in Excel and ERP systems, and can support both percentage-of-completion and cost-plus contracts. First shift with strong attention to detail is offered.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in accounts receivable and billing support.
• Strong knowledge of AR aging, invoicing, and collections.
• Experience with project-based or construction industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Issue and track invoice numbers for field and project personnel.
• Reconcile invoice logs across projects and units for accuracy.
• Resolve invoicing discrepancies and respond to billing questions promptly.
• Prepare cash receipt notifications for internal stakeholders.
• Support billing for percentage-of-completion and cost-plus contracts.
• Compile documentation for internal/external audits.
• Assist with general accounting and month-end close tasks.
• Collaborate with project personnel and accounting teams on reporting.
