Job summary

Genex Systems is hiring for a full-time, on-site Construction Administration role in Vancouver, WA. The team supports the FHWA Western Federal Lands Highway Division, handling records, data, contracts, and closeout activities for federal and tribal road projects.

The position requires at least one year toward an Associate's Degree in Civil Engineering Technology and experience in construction project administration, with strong DB, Excel, and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of college towards an Associate's Degree in Civil Engineering Technology.
• At least one year of construction project administration experience.
• Working knowledge of construction technology, terminology, scheduling, costs, materials, and equipment.
• Experience managing database applications and document controls.
• Understanding of construction financial reporting.
• Proficiency in word processing and in developing and maintaining spreadsheets and databases.

Responsibilities

• Maintain branch records and project files, including scanning and organizing documents.
• Manage database entry and reporting from field notes and reports.
• Enter monthly contractor payment data and track funding reports.
• Prepare and revise contract and construction reports and correspondence.
• Assist training coordination and maintain training materials and records.
• Build complex spreadsheets for tracking branch information and costs.
• Support maintenance of the WFLHD Construction Manual and SOPs.
• Support project closeout by reviewing data and preparing closeout reports.
