Job summary

DGA is seeking a Senior Project Architect in the United States to lead client-focused design efforts from concept through construction. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and ensure design intent meets code and constructability goals.

You will manage documentation, coordinate with vendors and authorities, and drive project profitability while guiding teams in a collaborative studio environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience as a technical project architect.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture; licensed or registered architect.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD is mandatory; strong BIM skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple aspects of client, team and project coordination, including full documentation coordination.
• Manage communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, and consultants.
• Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve complex technical and design challenges.
• Maintain the project manual and specifications.
• Conduct on-site observations and document site reviews.
• Process submittals, RFIs, substitution requests, etc. during construction.
• Interface with building and permitting officials during permitting and construction phases.
• Direct the design development process and oversee production of drawings in all phases.
• Collaborate with GC towards successful resolution and manage CA including specs and shop drawings.
