Job summary

DGA is seeking a Senior Project Architect to couple technical mastery with leadership. You will serve as the primary link between client vision, design intent, and site execution, leading multidisciplinary teams and driving project profitability.

You will manage coordination, prepare and review drawings and specs, interface with authorities, supervise construction documentation, and mentor junior staff in a collaborative studio environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience as a technical project architect.
• Licensed or registered architect with strong drawing production skills.
• Deep knowledge of building codes, standards and construction processes.
• Ability to develop a full set of construction documents.
• Strong client relationships and effective written/spoken communication.
• Leadership, organization and relationship management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple aspects of client, team and project coordination, including full documentation coordination.
• Lead communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, and consultants.
• Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve design challenges.
• Maintain the project manual and specifications.
• Conduct on-site observations and document site reviews.
• Interface with authorities during permitting and construction phases.
• Direct design development and production of architectural drawings across all phases.
• Mentor and develop junior staff within a collaborative studio environment.
• Collaborate with GC and consultants to resolve issues and keep project on track.
