The Poole and Kent Corporation is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to manage invoice processing, record keeping, and vendor communications in Baltimore, MD. The role reports to the Controller and supports month-end close and audits with accuracy and integrity.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and 1–3 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in construction, with strong Excel and accounting software skills.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Construction Management.
• 1–3 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in construction.
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and procedures.
• Experience communicating with vendors and internal teams.

Responsabilidades

• Compute, classify, record and verify numerical data for accounting records.
• Match vendor invoices to purchase orders and packing slips.
• Enter invoices into accounting software and generate payment lists for approval.
• Assist with A/P accrual at month-end and close cycle.
• Assist audits and reconcile vendor statements.
