Acloché LLC is seeking an Accounting Manager–Commercial Construction / Project-Based Business to lead accounting operations for a growing, owner-led firm in the commercial construction sector. This hands-on role focuses on month-end close, project accounting, and strong collaboration with ownership and project teams.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in accounting, supervision experience, and expertise in AP/AR, GL, and cash flow.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience supervising or leading accounting staff.
• Strong understanding of AP, AR, reconciliations, GL, cash flow, and financial reporting.
• Construction or project/job-cost accounting experience preferred.
• Tech-savvy with ability to adopt new software/systems.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations and a three-person team.
• Manage month-end close, GL, and reconciliations.
• Oversee AP, AR, collections and customer billing.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reporting.
• Monitor cash flow and short-term cash forecasts.
• Strengthen job-costing and project-accounting processes.
• Develop and maintain accounting controls.
• Support budgeting and forecasting with ownership.
• Collaborate with project managers and coordinators.
• Identify automation opportunities and improve processes.
• Coordinate with outside CPA and financial partners.
