Job summary

Acloché LLC is seeking an Accounting Manager for its commercial construction and project-based business in Stockbridge, GA. The role reports to the owner, leads a small accounting team, and combines strategic oversight with day-to-day accounting execution.

The ideal candidate brings significant accounting experience, strong QuickBooks Online skills, and a proven ability to manage AP/AR, job-costing, and financial reporting in a growth-oriented, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong QuickBooks Online experience required
• Prior experience supervising or leading accounting staff
• Strong understanding of AP, AR, reconciliations, GL, cash flow and financial reporting
• Construction/project accounting experience preferred
• Hands-on, organized and entrepreneurial owner-facing role

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day-to-day accounting operations and a three-person accounting team
• Manage month-end close, general ledger and account reconciliations
• Oversee AP, AR, collections and customer billing
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reporting
• Monitor cash flow and prepare short-term cash-flow forecasts
• Strengthen job-costing and project-accounting processes
• Develop and maintain appropriate accounting controls
• Support budgeting and forecasting with the owner
• Work closely with project managers and project coordinators
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline processes
• Coordinate with outside CPA and other financial partners
