Job summary

Job Juncture in Stockbridge, GA is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead accounting operations for a growing commercial construction business.

You'll oversee a three-person team, manage month-end close, project costing, cash flow, and financial reporting, and work closely with ownership.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of accounting experience, strong QuickBooks Online skills, and a background in construction or project accounting.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong QuickBooks Online experience required.
• Prior experience supervising or leading accounting staff.
• Strong understanding of AP, AR, reconciliations, GL, cash flow and financial reporting.
• Construction/project accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Tech-savvy and able to adopt new software and systems.
• Hands-on, organized and able to work with ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations and a three-person team.
• Manage month-end close, general ledger and reconciliations.
• Oversee AP, AR, collections and customer billing.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reporting.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare short-term cash-flow forecasts.
• Strengthen job-costing and project-accounting processes.
• Develop and maintain accounting controls.
