Job summary

Grace Manufacturing, Inc. seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee monthly close, reconciliations, and financial statements for its Prescott Valley, AZ and Russellville, AR operations.

You will provide cost accounting expertise for construction projects and drive process improvements in internal controls. The role requires a Bachelor’s in accounting with 5+ years in GL accounting, plus strong Excel and ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• At least 5 years of experience with general ledger accounting and financial statement preparation.
• Construction accounting experience; job costing experience preferred.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel, including pivot tables and experience working with accounting and ERP systems.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Strong interpersonal skills, team player, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to successfully manage competing priorities and make solid decisions.

Responsibilities

• Drive timely monthly accounting close for assigned business units. Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting documentation
• Prepare business unit financial statements and assist in preparing consolidated financial statements
• Provide expertise in construction/cost accounting and financial analysis to help management improve company performance
• Create and improve accounting and business processes
• Maintain systems and internal controls for assigned business units
• Construction tax compliance
• Other duties assigned as needed
