Job summary

Arizona Athletic Grounds is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the monthly close, financial reporting, and staff development within a fast-growing sports and events campus in Mesa. Reporting to the VP of Accounting, you will own internal controls, ERP administration, and cross-functional budgeting with events, facilities, F&B, and sales.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years supervising or managing staff.
Full-cycle month-end close and financial statement preparation.
GAAP/IFRS knowledge; FRF for SMEs is a plus.

Responsibilities

Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and the preparation and review of financial statements.
Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
Design, implement, document, and monitor internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
Coordinate ERP and AP modules, including chart of accounts, approvals, and user access.
Lead ad hoc analyses, system implementations, and special projects.
