Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
• Interest in construction, project accounting, or corporate accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with vendor invoices, documentation, coding, and payment processing.
• Support customer billing, payment application, and account reconciliation.
• Assist with equipment accounting, including equipment costs, transfers, purchases, and asset records.
• Help prepare account reconciliations, spreadsheets, and accounting reports.
• Gain exposure to month-end accounting activities.
• Review financial and equipment data for accuracy.
• Maintain organized accounting records and documentation.
• Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Work with Accounting and other departments to learn how financial operations support construction projects.
