GHJ Search and Staffing, the recruitment division of GHJ, seeks an experienced Construction Accountant to provide interim support to its accounting function. This role offers hands-on construction accounting exposure and the opportunity to work directly with the CFO.

The position focuses on WIP and job costing with potential for transition to permanent employment. The ideal candidate has construction accounting experience and is comfortable working independently to deliver accurate work on

Formación

• Construction accounting experience required.
• WIP and job costing experience strongly preferred.
• Sage Construction Software experience is a significant plus.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Support day-to-day accounting functions and financial processes.
• Assist with WIP (Work in Progress) accounting and job costing.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and financial reporting.
• Use Excel to organize, analyze, and reconcile financial information.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and issues.
• Partner directly with the CFO on accounting projects and special requests.
• Communicate accounting and financial information clearly to management.
• Ensure accounting deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
