Lunacon Construction Group is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our in-office team. The role focuses on accurate financial records, project cost tracking, and timely reporting for construction projects.

This position collaborates with project managers, estimators, and leadership to drive real-time financial insight. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of construction accounting experience and a CPA pursuit is a plus.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience in construction.
• Experience with government contracts is a plus.
• Experience with Viewpoint, Sage, or Trimble preferred.
• CPA or pursuit is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, job cost reports, and project performance data
• Maintain accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and accruals
• Process subcontractor pay applications and ensure compliance with lien releases and billing deadlines
• Assist with cash flow projections, budget tracking, and financial forecasting
• Monitor financial activity for accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support project financial performance
• Prepare reports for bonding, audits, and banking requirements
