Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 DOE

This is more than a traditional accounting role. You’ll work closely with project managers and leadership to oversee project financials, monitor job costs, and provide meaningful insight that supports successful project delivery.
As a Construction Accountant, you’ll oversee project accounting activities while supporting financial reporting, billing, and job cost analysis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of construction accounting who enjoys working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Manage job costing, project budgets, and cost tracking throughout the project lifecycle
Prepare progress billings, retainage schedules, and work-in-progress (WIP) reporting
Support month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
Partner with project managers to analyze project profitability and forecast costs
Ensure compliance with contract requirements and maintain accurate project documentation
3+ years of construction or project accounting experience
Strong knowledge of job costing, WIP reporting, and percentage-of-completion accounting
Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems such as Sage, CMiC, Foundation, Viewpoint, or similar software
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
