Job summary

Universal Stainless & Alloy Products Inc. is seeking a Production Planning Analyst to support planning across Bridgeville, PA, North Jackson, OH, and Dunkirk, NY, applying TOC principles to improve flow and lead times.

You will work with senior planners, operations, and cross-functional teams to balance material flow, manage inventories, and enhance on-time delivery in a multi-site environment.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in production planning, supply chain or manufacturing operations.
• Strong Excel skills for data analysis and basic modeling.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to understand and apply structured problem-solving approaches.
• Exposure to TOC Lean Manufacturing or capacity planning is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production flow and WIP levels to align with TOC principles.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and disruptions.
• Support actions that improve throughput while minimizing inventory buildup.
• Maintain ERP and Excel-based planning data and generate constraint reports.
• Backfill planner roles across multiple sites to ensure continuity.
• Contribute to improving scheduling processes and constraint management.
• Support order visibility and on-time delivery improvements.
