Overview

The Constituent Relationship Management ( CRM ) Analyst performs critical tasks within the CRM system to support general graduate enrollment management practices, as well as leads the analysis of NIU Graduate School initiatives. As a member of the CRM team, the position will support in data controls, programming and logic building, and communication automation systems as the team needs. The focus of the position will be to determine, develop, execute, and analyze reporting needs of the Graduate School.

Position Summary

The CRM Analyst performs critical tasks within the CRM system to support general graduate enrollment management practices, as well as leads the analysis of NIU Graduate School initiatives. As a member of the CRM team, the position will support in the data controls, programming and logic building, and communication automation systems, as the team needs. The focus of the position will be to determine, develop, execute and analyze the reporting needs of the Graduate School.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

CRM Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Develop, deliver and maintain dashboards to provide divisional leadership with real-time analysis of the Graduate School’s work
  • Interpret results of all identified needs and provide analysis to divisional leadership
  • Lead campaign-end and year-end analysis and reporting
  • Provide interpretation of data and actionable suggestions to divisional leadership
  • Determine analysis needs in collaboration with divisional leadership and develop the tools and manners by which to collect and interpret the data.
Graduate Application & Admission Process Support
  • Assist with graduate application processing set-up and year-on-year maintenance needs
  • Support maintenance of effective marketing automation strategies
  • Serve as a thought leader in determining relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing campaigns and initiatives.
CRM Team Support
  • Support the CRM team in the execution of duties necessary to operate the CRM system in a manner that elevates the institution’s ability to carry out its mission related to graduate enrollment management.
  • Provide guidance and participation in data control efforts
  • Understand/support all integrations within the CRM system
Graduate Communications Technical Support
  • Technical support for automated communications, including email, text, event registration campaigns, and more
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and partners on technical aspects of project requirements, delivery of assets and production timelines.

Minimum Required Qualifications (SPS)

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, data analytics, computer science, business analytics or related field
  • One (1) year of experience working with CRM systems
  • Demonstrated experience with data analysis, reporting and dashboard creation
  • One (1) year cumulative/consistent experience working with Technolutions Slate CRM (can be concurrent with #2)
