We are looking for a creative, hard-working, team-oriented individual to fill an opening for Athletic Director. This is a part-time hourly position as Athletic Director for extracurricular sports for grades K-8 approximately 10-15 hours/week. AD responsibilities include developing a schedule for each sport, identifying and supervising coaches, ensuring state and local conference compliance, arranging for officials, communicating with parents, and more.
Hood View Adventist School (HVAS) is a Preschool-8th grade school currently serving almost 200 students with a full-time principal, 10 full-time teachers, support staff, and outstanding support from constituent churches. The school is located on 20 beautiful acres with a view of Mt. Hood. It has a wonderful family feel in a country setting yet is close to Portland. A qualified applicant will have strong administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills. A degree in Physical Education and experience as a coach or AD is beneficial. Candidates should demonstrate a strong relationship with Jesus and have a passion for Adventist education and making Jesus an integral part of the athletic program. They should be committed to excellence and helping every student athlete realize their potential.
