Job summary

Calvert Health System in Maryland is seeking a full-time Call Center Representative for a day shift (Tues-Sat, 6:45 am - 3:15 pm). You will answer incoming calls, transfer callers when needed, and relay messages to physicians promptly and accurately. Requires a high school diploma or GED and 0-6 months related experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS

Job Summary :

Knowledgeable in the efficient operation of the hospital's console. Professionally and promptly answers incoming calls; transfers callers as appropriate; answers questions from callers in accordance with established hospital policy. Takes and relays messages. Receives calls from caller/patient in professional and courteous manner, and relates to physician complete and accurate information pertaining to the call received.

Education :

Position requires a high schooldiploma or GED and0- 6 months equivalent combination of education and experience in related area.

Registration/Certification/Licensure :

Experience :

Position requires 0-6 months related experience.

Other Requirements :

Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.
