This position assists in the coordination of incentive and rebate programs, including database updates; responds to customer and contractor inquiries; application verification; customer service; and general support of Austin Energy residential, multifamily, and commercial energy efficiency programs.

Verification of education will be required for top candidates, including proof from an accredited institution. Military/veterans must provide DD-214. A criminal background check is required.
Employees in Good Standing within the department/division that the position resides in and meeting minimum qualifications will be included in the initial interview. Good Standing status will be re-verified at the Top Candidate Selection phase.
Veterans must provide DD-214 for interview preference. The top candidate will undergo a minimum 7-year criminal history background check.
This position requires a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain one by hire date. External hires must meet the City of Austin’s Driver Record Evaluation requirements, with no more than three moving violations or six evaluation points in 36 months.
Pay Range: $27.41 – $33.30
